Stephen Fenech just returned from the US with some Region A Blu-Ray Discs and wrote an article on the BD3000’s compatibility with discs around the world.
Fenech explicitly points out how the BD3000 covers all bases in terms of playback. Fenech further highlights the first to price point value of the BD3000 at only $99.95. It is described as “a compact unit” and Fenech points out the extensive range of features including upscaling and HDMI connection which allows users to “plug directly into the latest smart TVs, soundbars and AV receivers as well”.
The end verdict is that the BD3000 received a whopping 90% review rating from techguide.com.au with Fenech commenting, “The Laser BD3000 multi-region Blu-ray Disc player is not only one of the most versatile players on the market – it’s also one of the most affordable as well. That’s an irresistible combination.”
